Stargazer, Hellraiser (2019)
Stargazer, Hellraiser is a stop motion film starring pressed stargazer lilies. I had a collection of preserved plants that I collected at different stages of my life, in this case taken from my job at a cafe at the time, and didn't know what else I could do with them. As an attempt to "bring them back to life", the plant matter found its own rhythm through a dance of superimpositions and strobe effects.
